- Obituary of Laura Beuchat Paquelet- Louisville Herald, July 31, 1924 After an illness of a few days, caused by complications, Mrs. Laura Paquelet died at her home of South Chapel Street, Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. She is survived by her husband, Frank Paquelet, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. John Callan, Misses Blanche and Helen Paquelet and Raymond and Edward Paquelet, all residing in Louisville. The following sister and brothers also survive: Mrs. Justine Ballard, of Lombard, Illinois; Mrs. H. J. Kropf, Mrs. George Baillet, Miss Anna Beuchat, Joseph, Henry and Louis Beuchat, all of Louisville. Mrs. Paquelet was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beuchat. She was born in Louisville January 9, 1865, making her age 68 years. Her entire life was spent in Louisville. Mrs. Paquelet was a devoted wife and mother. She was kind and generous and ready to extend a helping hand whenever necessary. She was always pleasant to all and her amiable disposition made her many friends. Funeral services will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church Friday morning at nine o'clock. The pastor, Rev. N. F. Weckel, will officiate. Interment will be made in St. Louis Cemetery.
