  Christian died at General Hospital No. 1, Murfreesboro, Tn. of Typhoid Fever. He was a Private, Co. K, 2nd Regiment, East TN. Cav. - Civil War. At 22 years of age he enrolled for military service on December 1, 1862 in Lexington, KY. According to his military records, Chrisley was 5'7" in height, complexion dark; eyes blue, and hair dark. He listed his occupation as a farmer.
