John and Mary were born in Ireland, having immigrated in 1888. Their children were born in Ohio. Patrick was a farmer. They were living next door to John and Mary's other son, Dennis Daugherty. [Note: this census is probably incorrect, in that Patrick and Nancy (?) were also born in Ireland.]

AGED WAKEMAN RESIDENT DIES
Patrick T. Daugherty of Maple St., Wakeman passed away Monday morning at the Norwalk Memorial Hospital, following an illness of ne week. Mr. Daugherty was born in Ireland, December 6, 1869. He came to the U.S.A. at the age of 18 and has spent the remainder of his in this vicinity.
Surviving him are three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Mathias Murray of Wakeman, Mrs. Robert Jones of Lorain, Mrs. Theodore Camp of LaGrange and Dennis Daugherty of Wakeman. Friends may call at the Gerber Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Karl L. Burger, pastor, offering Mass. Interment is St. Mary's Cemetery.
