Both were born in Irish Free State and immigrated in 1888. Patrick was a farmer. Obituary published in the New London Record on 01/15/1953, p. 7, C5, Sec 1: AGED WAKEMAN RESIDENT DIES Patrick T. Daugherty of Maple St., Wakeman passed away Monday morning at the Norwalk Memorial Hospital, following an illness of ne week. Mr. Daugherty was born in Ireland, December 6, 1869. He came to the U.S.A. at the age of 18 and has spent the remainder of his in this vicinity. Surviving him are three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Mathias Murray of Wakeman, Mrs. Robert Jones of Lorain, Mrs. Theodore Camp of LaGrange and Dennis Daugherty of Wakeman. Friends may call at the Gerber Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Karl L. Burger, pastor, offering Mass.
