- Johann Schuster was married once before his marriage to Charlotte Radel. His first wife, whose name is unknown, was deceased at the time of his second marriage. He's found in the 1930 census in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, OH: SCHUSTER, John (73) and wife Charlotte (54). John married for the first time when he was 40 years old; Lottie married for the first time when she was 44 [which is incorrect; that was her age at the time of her marriage to John Schuster]. They both gave their place of birth as Romania. John immigrated to the U.S. in 1920; Lottie immigrated to the U.S. in 1930. He was a gardener for a private house and she was a seamstress in a clothes factory. The dates on his grave say: 1855 - 1931, although his death certificate gives his date of birth as September 19, 1857.
